From Julie Corpe, mother of Laura, Sarah, Hannah and
Jenny I always felt this to be a very impressive philosophy..,.that Kindermusik understands and supports
young children right where they are in their stage of development...needing to stick close to mom earlier, then branching
out to sit on the story rug without mom a bit or perhaps become partner with another person..it was always OK if some children
needed to stick close more than others. It was expected and understood that a child might explore a bit but also need to come
back to the grounding mom has to offer. Kindermusik understands and supports that children will reach out to the big world
around them when they feel comfortable and secure in their immediate world. ...The benefits of Kindermusik participation
..beyond the musical knowledge and fun... it helps your child develop confidence, relating to those beyond the family circle,
learning to ask questions in a non-threatening environment, encourages exploration and promotes discovery with activities
that the children remember fondly for the rest of their lives. Three of my daughters have completed the entire Kindermusik
program and the fourth will begin Young Child fall 2004. Our Kindermusik CD's are still used repeatedly by all our daughters.....we
never take a car trip without them. In addition to being a fabulous source of musical entertainment, they also serve as the
foundation for unlimited imaginative games in our family. I have also used the CD's, dances and learning cards to present
informal music appreciation classes to my children's classmates in school. My girls received a valuable preparation for the
choral singing and piano lessons they began when Kindermusik classes ended. I can't imagine our family without the Kindermusik
advantage! Kindermusik people don't just know music, they know kids!!!
****Laura, Sarah were accepted and
have been singing for three years with Da Cappo and The Augusta Children's Chorale. They have been accepted into Davidson
Fine Arts Magnet School. Hannah has been accepted into Da Cappo and is now studying the piano.

From Barry Garman, Charlie's dad....
Rochelle
and I would like to share our wonderful experience watching Charlie’s interest in music grow as a result of the Young Child
course with you. As music educators and performers ourselves, we’ve always appreciated Kindermusik’s breadth of scope but
it was a special treat for us both to see Charlie’s musical literacy develop through vocabulary, applied music notation, exposure
to all musical styles, and knowledge of instruments and literature. We are looking forward to Charlie’s continued participation
in the next unit of Young Child.
And from Rochelle, Charlie's mom....
I’m amazed at how much Charlie loves the
class. Every Tuesday when he comes home he can’t wait to show us what he has learned. He keeps asking me "when is Kindermusik
starting up again, I can’t wait to learn my new notes". It’s wonderful that he’s trying to play the songs on the piano and
he also does it on one of his toy computers. His little brother, who has been in some of the younger Kindermusik classes,
has learned to play some of the songs by watching him. As a former string teacher, I love the fact that the children are learning
their note names and the black chips and the staff chart are a great, fun way to help them learn. I feel that the program
is very well rounded and support every aspect. WE LOVE IT!!!
